Charis Community Development Training Centre
Based in Paarl, we exist so that people in the Boland can gain real skills, walk with dignity and find work or build a business of their own.
Our purpose
Training that changes a household, not only a CV
Charis grew out of community and church work in the Cape Winelands. We saw talented people held back by cost, distance and confidence — so we brought the training to them.
Community first
We train in the communities we come from — churches, halls, schools and workplaces — so that distance and cost never stop a learner.
Quality you can audit
Attendance registers, portfolios of evidence, assessment and moderation records are kept for every learner and every intake.
Support after the course
Job readiness coaching, business mentoring and referrals continue after the last class, not just on the day of the certificate.
